Dirty Down Soot Black Ageing Spray is a semi-opaque, water-soluble dye spray that produces realistic coal-black soot, dirt, and ageing effects on props, costumes, and set pieces.
The darkest shade in the Dirty Down range, it gives an almost opaque “sooty” finish that can be reworked or smeared with water for natural variation.
Ideal for film, theatre, and TV productions requiring authentic grime and burn effects.

Usage Instructions:

• Shake can well before use and test spray pressure first
• Ensure surfaces are dry and grease-free
• Spray from ≈ 30 cm in light, even coats
• Build colour gradually – several fine coats give best results
• Rework with a damp cloth or by rubbing sprayed fabric
• Avoid use on polished or absorbent surfaces without testing
• Do not use outdoors in wet weather
• May cause permanent staining – test before full use
